Liverpool Rejecting Bids For Promising Former Spurs Player
Liverpool Are Issuing A Hands Off To Clubs As They Bid Relentlessly For Talented Midfielder
Liverpool are reportedly keen on keeping hold of talented midfielder Kevin Stewart after it has emerged that the player is attracting attention from several Premier League clubs who are ready to pay top dollar to acquire his services in the coming weeks. Stewart who made the move to Liverpool in 2014 from Tottenham Hotspur after making it through the youth ranks has been very impressive over the past one year has been a target for clubs like Swansea, West Bromwich Albion, Brighton, Newcastle and Aston Villa.
// So far Liverpool have resisted bid of up to £8 million and reportedly want to integrate the player into the Liverpool midfield in the coming months as the Reds battle for the title this time around. Even though the player’s chances have been limited this time around the club got him to sign a new five year contract last year and have maintained since that he is not for sale. It makes sense for the club to have an English core of players especially after Britain’s exit from the European Union and the possible work permit issues that may crop up with foreign players.
