Liverpool player, James Milner is known to be hardworking footballer who puts his head down and works tirelessly for his team. The England international has come under praise from another English legend, Alan Shearer who has described the player as “a manager’s dream” after having watched him during their time at Newcastle United.
James Milner who has now been slotted at left back after having had stints in midfield managed to keep Raheem Sterling quiet for most of the the game against Manchester City and even though Sterling stepped past Milner on a couple of occasions, it was clear that the winger’s appetite was much reduced due to the presence of Milner. The former Manchester City man also chipped in with some gorgeous forward passes that were much appreciated by Jurgen Klopp from the sidelines. All in all, he’s an asset for the Liverpool side at the moment due to his versatility and Jurgen Klopp will do well to afford him a rest in the coming days to avoid injury.
