Scouting Report: Mexican Raul Jimenez Gets Liverpool Interested
Liverpool Interested In Making Move For Mexican Star Raul Jimenez
Jurgen Klopp has reportedly decided to replace Liverpool’s crowd favorite, Daniel Sturridge in the summer with several targets lined up already. The Englishman has been sidelined from the first team for most of this season and it seems like his Liverpool days are at an end as the team looks for a more reliable striker who is less injury prone while making the same kind of impact with the young squad.
One of the choices Jurgen Klopp has come across is Mexican striker Raul Jimenez who on paper looks like a perfect Jurgen Klopp player due to his attributes and his pedigree which led to him being picked up by super agent Jorge Mendes at a very young age.Jimenez was picked up very early by Atletico Madrid for a fee of €11 million and although he didn’t get many opportunities for the club, manager Diego Simeone publicly expressed praise for the striker’s attitude in training. After a move to Benfica, it seems like the player’s big move has finally come around with the interest shown by the Reds.
