5 things we learned from Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Manchester United
Goals from Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino send Jurgen Klopp’s Reds to Old Trafford next week with a two-goal advantage which could prove decisive in the coming week.
There could have easily had been many more goals for the Merseyside had it not been for De Gea’s saves that to be fair has still kept the Red Devils in the game.
Here are 5 things we learned from Liverpool win last night :
5) United will be in huge debt to De gea
De Gea was again at his sensational best at Anfield. He brilliantly denied both Coutinho and Lallana in the first half and produced not one but many saves throughout the game to keep the match in hand going in to the second leg.
This is not the first time De gea has pulled out a performance like this and still ended up on the losing side. If United play the same way then De Gea would need to be in similar form if Manchester United are even close to turning the tie around.
